NK Medical Child Klimer Cribs are designed to keep children safe while they are being monitored or receiving treatment and are available with several sleeping surface options. Klimer Cribs feature a vinyl side and end panels above the safety rails to help keep overactive children safe in their cribs. The easy access safety gate system for ICU Cribs allows for each of the four safety rails to drop down so that urgent medical care can be provided from any side. Medical Cribs are available with either chrome or epoxy finish and are ideal for all hospitals and pediatric clinics.
The ICU Crib also features a bottom bin with an oxygen holder cut out in it. Klimer Crib sleeping systems have a non-helical design and are constructed from a solid pan of metal rather than a spring design. Hospital Cribs feature four 5 inch swivel caster wheels, two braking, which allow for safe and easy maneuvering.
Sleeping Surface options for the Pediatric Cribs include a Flat deck, a Flat-Trendelenburg deck, a Gatch deck, a Fowler deck, and combination Gatch-Trendelenburg Deck. The Flat-Trendelenburg deck allows children to lie down flat or in a position where their feet are elevated above their heads. The Fowler Deck allows children to lie down in a position where their heads are elevated. The Gatch Deck features three separate sections which allow children to lie down in a position with both their heads and their knees elevated. The Gatch-Trendelenburg Deck provides children with the 3 adjustable Gatch sections or the ability to lie down in the Trendelenburg position. Cribs with Gatch decks feature a safety extender that is attached to the sleep surface to prevent children from getting trapped in the head end gate as the head section is being raised. Flat deck cribs do not have any adjustable sections.
