MedGyn cervical dilator, 4mm. It is a natural product, so it does not contain synthetic materials. Once the plant is dehydrated, it becomes hygroscopic and swells up to approximately ten times the dehydrated diameter. This property makes laminaria the preferred cervical dilator. When inserted in the cervical canal, it absorbs fluid gradually.
