East Hasting has a new lifeline store on the block. LifeSupply is a Diversified Medical Equipment Store (DMES), which had its grand opening on March 1. The store’s experienced staff offers innovative services and products to help their community and beyond.
LifeSupply’s owners began by seeing the growing need for home medical equipment at a low cost and with affordable access. This idea soon turned into a reality and LifeSupply was born. The supplier offers sales and rentals on home and professional equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds and scooters.
A unique aspect to the store is their type clientele, which includes individual patients and their families, as well as professionals in the medical industry. Behshad Hastibakhsh of LifeSupply boasts that, “we have inquiries and interactions with medical professionals, dental offices, chiropractors and more.”
For added value, LifeSupply offers 24/seven access to home medical equipment, accessible via the website. If a client is interested in the payment plan, where the purchase must be over $1,000, it can be paid back over a 72 month period.
Hastibakhsh says LifeSupply offers incredibly competitive prices, ranging from $200 to $300 less than some others in the marketplace. ”Some items are even up to 50 per cent less than other suppliers,” he says. “With this, we have certainly achieved our goal of creating a store with affordability for seniors and others on a fixed income.”
The store frequently has customers inquiring after just walking by and seeing the Grand Opening sign. Of course local business is the tip of the iceberg, as Hastibakhsh states that they welcome a wide range of international customers, from Singapore to the United Kingdom.
LifeSupply offers hands on customer service and great expertise on the subject of DMES, and, says Hastibakhsh, “we are very excited to be welcomed into the East Hastings neighborhood.”
