The Knee cryo cuff with Cooler contains 4 segments namely cuff, cooler, insulation disk and tube.
- Cuff is used to cover the knee with iced water which is pressurized.
- Cooler is used to store adequate water and ice for as long as 6-8 hours of therapy.
- Insulation Disk keeps the water cold and ice intact.
- Tube does the exchange of water between the cooler and cuff.

Cleaning Instructions:
- Once used, water should be emptied from the cuff, tube and the cooler. In order to empty out the tube, raise the tube and press the tip of the quick-disconnect.
- Keep the cooler top off to allow it to dry. You can also clean the cuff, tube and the cooler with little warm soapy water by adding it to the cooler and repeating that water for the cuff. Once done, rinse it thoroughly.
How to Use the Knee Cuff:
- Preparing the cooler by connecting the blue tube to the cooler. Then add water and ice inside the cooler. Put insulation disk on top of the ice and then attach the lid closely.
- Wrap the knee cuff by securing it safely to the knee. Keep the lower bottom strap loose for the cuff therapy.
- Fill the cuff by connecting blue tube to the cuff. Vent on the cooler should be opened and cooler should not be riased more than 15 inches over the cuff. Keep it at that level for approximately 30-35 seconds or until the cuff is full. Once done, the air vent can be closed.
- Water can be chilled again after about half an hour, then after about an hour or as per the requirement. The tube can be reconnected to the cuff and cooler should be lowered below the cuff. This will allow the warm water to drain from the cuff into the cooler. After about 2 minutes, the water will get mixed with the ice and get chilled again.
